A Colorado approach to the American take of an English classic, we use three aggressive, yet floral American hops teamed together to make a bright, citrusy, and floral IPA. A deep caramel malt helps to balance the bitterness of the hops and lets the complex hop bill do its hoppy thing.
Get ready for a wild ride down the mountain with Magnus, Crazy Mountain’s able-bodied grain pounder. He prepares grain for brewing by smashing it with his great strength. But there’s more to Magnus than first meets the eye. He’s strong but bright, and complex but not too intense. So buckle-up and prepare for quite the lift.
Start at Beaver Creek Resort and head straight up the ski hill with a few chilled bottles of Hookiebobb IPA in your daypack. This trail briefly follows a ski run before it crosses a roaring creek and delves into a dense aspen forest. The final stretch is a fairly strenuous 1,600 foot vertical climb, but the pristine alpine lake at the end is definitely worth it.
