It’s that time of year again and no we’re not talking about Pumpkin Spice Lattes or the fact that you can hear the crowd at Mile High Stadium from our taproom when Von Miller sacks Russell Wilson.

It’s that time of year when beer geeks, home brewers, and the best of the best in the world of beer come to Denver to showcase their brewery’s finest:

Great. American. Beer. Festival.

As an avid and amateur home brewer for the better part of a decade, this “festival,” if you will, is the equivalent of Burning Man to New Agers or the Super Bowl to football fans. To a beer geek such as myself, it’s a great way to get sloshed, uh, I mean introduced to up and coming breweries and to pay homage to those who’ve paved the way for craft beer. From coast to coast and everywhere in between (like Manhattan, Kansas) you can be sure that your taste buds will reach nirvana and your beer knowledge expanded through new styles, flavors, and hybrids.

As the host for 30-something years, the City of Denver welcomes more than 800 breweries, 3,800 beers, and roughly 40,000 attendees each year. As the six-largest brewery in the state of Colorado, Crazy Mountain Brewing Company will make its 7th appearance, showcasing only it’s finest and most-quaffable beer the Baker Neighborhood has to offer.

That lineup includes:

Creedence Pilsner

Crazy Mountain Amber

Hookiebob IPA

Horseshoes & Hand Grenades ESB

Lava Lake Wit

Mountain Livin’ Pale Ale

Cara de Luna Black Ale

To kick off the three-day event, join us at our Denver taproom (471 Kalamath St.) for GABF Eve and our Taproom Renovation Reveal on Wednesday September 19th starting at 4pm for beer specials, a pretzel necklace-making table, food trucks, live music, and prizes!

See you there!
